Prestigious Community Care was established in 2021 with the sole aim of offering support services to all of Townsville and the surrounding areas of Far North Queensland.

At Prestigious Community Care we provide a range of disability services. With the services we provide, we aim to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities by tailor-making care plans to suit each individual.
By creating a tailor-made care plan for our clients, we promote individuals to live as independently as they like. The goal is to make each of our participant’s lives easier, fairer, and more involved by helping them participate in the decision-making, so by promoting their independence and progression they can feel safe, included, and not discriminated against.

Spirit of Africa is a group whose major aims includes maintaining the African cultures and traditions of the diverse African communities here in Townsville. The group also shares the customs and traditions with the rest of the Townsville community so that they can understanding of our way of life.
This is done by way of our African festival at the Riverway every year for the last 10 years. During this time people are given an opportunity to ask questions, taste our African traditional food. The community is also entertained by way of African traditional dancing, singing, drumming and many more.
